had a language immersion programme in chiba so i decided to turn it into an extended holiday with some of my friends.
14-17 dec: tokyo (photos taken with my camera here)
stayed alone in an airbnb in tokyo, close to ikebukuro. i just really like ikebukuro??
met up with a lot of redditors and went to the kawasaki arcade again. there were like... 12? of us? i think.
made a few good friends. bought a lot of things. drank a lot of umeshu. golden gai is really aesthetic.
17-23 dec: chiba
our guest lecturer (?) was matthew chozick who was very hip and cool in a nerdy way. it was kind of weirdly intellectual but also a little wild.
he brought us to penguin house which was owned by this british dude (i forgot his name but matthew seemed very into him)
i ate a lot.
23 dec-05 jan: seoul
seoul was WILD
i drank. a lot. blacked out for the first time in my life. went clubbing with my friends. lost my damned passport and wallet (i'm all right now, nothing disastrous happened, just waiting for insurance to get back to me). met a very nice korean guy.
bought a LOT of skincare and a few sweaters.
so good
