i was in japan from 4th to 8th august
because i heard about the marisou solo concert, so i booked the tickets the very night the show was announced lol
anyway, we did lots of stuff
content cut again because lots of pictures
1. we went to あなたのウィアハウス (anata no warehouse/your warehouse) in kawasaki
here's the direct link to their website
the location is 〒210-0024 神奈川県川崎市 川崎区日進町3-7 and you can get there by taking the keihin-tohoku line down to kawasaki station. i took the link from akihabara.
it opens at 9 on weekdays and 7 on weekends/holidays, all the way to 23:45, and you can't enter if you're below 18. though i guess they don't really check?
it's just a short walk from the station
on the way to the arcade~ |
the building looks like this so you can't miss it |
entrance |
more entrance |
when you open this door you might get a bit of a shock, so you might want to get videod going in |
exit to car park |
2. we took lots of purikura
these are the ones that we got sent to our phone, so we could download them. if we wanted to get all he pictures we'd have to pay lol
this is all the purikura we took in 4 days |
3. went to kento's concert (or at least mike did)
4. went to marisou' concert
i went with a friend off twitter, devon. it was his first johhnys' con lmao
while walking into the concert venue |
flowers sent for sz's solo cons |
more |
my mini uchiwa and ticket |
i had a standing ticket for balcony 2, but tokyo dome city hall was SO small, plus i brought binoculars, so it didn't matter lol. i could see marius so clearly.
i tweeted about the con on this twitter thread
5. went to the harajuku johnnys' shop.
last time i went to the one in nagoya, which was relatively empty. we queued for about 10 minutes to get in.
the harajuku shop made us line up on the little slope down from the shop so we wouldn't clog up the entire lane. there are So Many People there, and the queuing was endless. they close the queue at maybe 5~ish even though the shop is technically open until 7pm.
for some reason the cashier messed up some of our orders and i didn't realise it when she was laying out the photos for us. so... well, never mind. i'll give the extra photos to other people.
i met nada and vivi from twitter by coincidence while queuing in the shop lol. it was a crazy coincidence
6. ate at pablo's right beside the johnnys' shop. it's literally right beside.
we had the chocolate cheese tart and the strawberry shaved ice. the kakigori is huge, so...
mike was so tired she fell asleep and left me to eat alone lmao. but she woke up before i'd finished half the tart so.
7. walked across odaiba bridge and caught the sunset
to go on to the walkway, you need to walk over. we made the mistake of getting off at mita station (which seemed pretty near on google maps) only to get confused about how to go onto the walkway. anyway just walk towards the point bit of the bridge (picture below) and there'll be elevators to take you up.
7. got some awesome views on the plane
on the way to haneda |
also on the way there |
on the way back |
on the way back |
on the flight back, there were like no clouds at all. i looked up to see literally a blanket of stars. i thought for a moment that we'd flipped upside down and i was looking at the city lights. nope. just stars. a sky full of stars. amazing.
8. got some modelling out of mike
ok that's it
10. all photos unedited. any funny stuff was done in camera. like messing with the iso to get purple-pink skies (im sry for crushing ur hopes of actual cotton candy skies). also bc i just got back home today and i took a 7-hour nap until now.
